Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Hello!

Welcome to my little corner of the Internet, where I talk about my faith and marriage, and our journey with fertility, pregnancy loss, and our rainbow pregnancy and baby, plus the lighter side of life, like books, travel, and fashion. Often it’s a combination.

I’m Amelia, a believer in fairytales, even on the hardest days, and I am on a quest for the perfect chai latte. I started this blog back in March 2020, when the world turned upside down. I wanted to chronicle the experience of living, surviving, and thriving in a global pandemic, all the while preparing to marry the love of my life. As my life has changed, instead of lockdown, I’m navigating my journey with fertility, miscarriage, a rainbow pregnancy, and motherhood. So now that’s what I’m largely sharing and processing in this public journal.

Call me a dreamer, and I’ll tell you you’re right. Say I’m a romantic, I can’t agree more. Read my story, and you might just become a romantic dreamer too, even in the middle of the harshest storms.

Where you can find me:

Here’s a few quick facts about me:

1) I was born in Manhattan but grew up in a small NY town, north of the Adirondack Mountains along the Canadian border where my husband and I met. Recently we relocated to the greater Boston, MA area and are living our best New England life.

2) I work in digital marketing, but photography is my passion, and motherhood is my true calling.

3) On an average weekend you can find me out exploring the world with my camera and kiddo or back home with tea and a good book or craft project! Or catching up on the 164,867 loads of laundry that appear once you have a baby.

4) My drink of choice is a well-brewed cup of tea with cream or a London fog oat milk latte if I’m feeling fancy.

5) I made my own wedding cake — both for our small, pandemic wedding reception of 25 people and our larger, belated reception of 80 people a year later.

6) Before moving back to my hometown and meeting my husband, I lived in London, England and a part of my heart will always be there.

7) Finally, I started reading the Lord of the Rings at the age of 9, after I’d finished reading all the fairytale books in the house, and my love for fantasy has never waned.
